Pumpkin Spice Ale

Just in time for Autumn, Rampant Brewing Company’s newest beer has been completed!  If you are like me, you have always wondered how to combine the flavors of beer and pumpkin pie into one tasty treat… well, wait no longer my friends!

We have combined the best of both worlds: a light beer with caramel and honey malts brewed with pumpkin, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger.  The pumpkin pie flavors are subtle and merely compliment the honey and caramel malts.

This is one of our best tasting beers to date!   We only had one small difficulty… we managed to make it way over carbonated!  Somehow while adding the exact correct amount of priming sugar the beer still takes five minutes to pour because of the massive head of foam.  Life is hard but sometimes you have to be patient to get at the good stuff.
